Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem was in the hot seat Tuesday as she testified before the Senate Judiciary Committee — her first congressional appearance since the shooting deaths of two U.S. citizens during federal immigration enforcement operations in Minneapolis. During the hearing, Senator Chris Coons asked Noem whether she was aware of the federal statute that prohibits armed men from being at polling sites during elections.
